EGT is a finalist in several categories of BEGE Awards 2024
Nov 22, 2024EGT is excited to announce that it has been shortlisted in 6 categories of the prestigious BEGE Awards 2024. The competition, held annually as part of the BEGE Expo, will give prizes to individuals and companies for their significant contributions and excellent achievements in the gaming and entertainment industry for the 15th consecutive year.
After winning the accolade in last year's edition of the event, the CEO of EGT, Mr. Vladimir Dokov, is once again a finalist in the CEO of the Year category. He received the nomination because of his strategic vision for the company, which has turned it into one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of gaming equipment on a global level.
EGT will also compete for the awards in the Slot Machine of the Year and Slot Game Product of the Year categories. The company has been shortlisted, respectively, for its slot cabinets and slot games from the latest General Series, which have been demonstrating excellent results in a number of gaming establishments around the world.
Spider CMS is nominated for Casino Management System of the Year. As a result of its continuous development and improvement, the system currently contains 15 modules that make the organization of daily activities in gaming halls easy and efficient. This year, Spider CMS significantly expanded its footprint with several installations in Europe and Africa.

What can you tell us about the products you're planning to unleash at Perú Gaming Show? Why is this trade show a good fit for EGT?
Peru Gaming Show is certainly an effective venue for networking and business negotiations. Just for several days we are able to get in contact with so many key participants in the industry. At this year’s edition of the event we have prepared numerous slot products, emphasizing on our Premier Curved cabinets. We will also demonstrate the full collection of gaming mixes from the Premier, Collection and General series. Our jackpot systems, based on different platforms and integrated with various machines, as well as the online-based games, developed by EGT Interactive will complete our display.
How are you planning to captivate Peruvian casino operators and players alike?
EGT’s products are well known globally. In Latin America and Peru in particular we are progressing fast with many installations most of them concluded within the last 6 months. Currently we have delivered over 500 machines, 80% of them operating on the territory of Lima. Our Premier cabinets establish themselves as very efficient and exceeding even the highest expectations. In this context our team has to focus mainly on meeting the market requirements, keeping the impeccable quality of our products and providing a professional technical support.
EGT decided to open a local office about a year ago. How would you assess its performance?
We opened our office in Peru just recently – in December last year, but, as I mentioned, we have so far achieved remarkable results on the market which is another evidence for the strengths of EGT’s products. Our strategy proved successful in finding reliable local partners and our team, though not numerous, is effective in servicing the customers in the most appropriate way.
How do you feel Andean gambling markets will evolve in terms of player trends and technology impacts?
Nowadays the market in Peru is getting more and more inclined to thematic based jackpots. This is why I am confident that our jackpot systems Egypt Quest and the Chinese-styled Fu Gui Rong Hua will be accepted enthusiastically from the audience. At the same time we don’t underestimate the growing market potential of the interactive niche in this part of the world, moreover our desktop and mobile games are perfect internet adapted replicas of EGT’s successful globally slot video titles.
EGT at Expojoc 2017: Expect an ultimate gaming experience
June 09, 2017Euro Games Technology will greet again the Spanish gaming society on 13 and 14 June at ExpoJoc 2017 (Expo Congreso de Juego) in Valencia. The big news for FADJA 2017 was its new venue. What were the benefits of the relocation? How would you assess the show on the overall? How would you rank the visitor traffic? And what about the organization? To what extent were you able to meet your goals?
The relocation of this year’s FADJA was a challenge for us. However, the show in general and our booth in particular were well visited. We presented some of our highly potential products on the market – the Premier Curved cabinets and the jackpot systems 3 Happy Hits, Diamond Life and Lady’s Cards, the multiplayer division’s Luxury roulette touch table, the STORK terminal, and multitude different multigames, including the EGT Interactive online-based titles. We were able to meet with many new operators, so our overall estimate of the exhibition is that it was successful for us.
How was this past year, from FADJA 2016 to date for the Colombian gaming industry? What are the expectations for the near term following your participation in the trade show?
The industry is growing at a high pace and new additions to the gaming floors are at a high demand, encouraging the operators to add more diversity to their equipment. EGT has a lot to offer in this respect, presenting nonparallel products on the market, attracting the attention of the connoisseurs.
Several major casino operators such as Chile’s Sun Dreams are eyeing Colombia for new casino. What are the opportunities present there for you?
Some of the major local operators are already in contact with us and we are currently in a process of installing our products on their floors. The reputation we have established as a manufacturer and a partner and our proven products are among the key factors EGT to be considered as a reliable supplier for the gaming industry in Colombia.
Do you reckon the investigation of former officials of Coljuegos for irregularities in casino contracts will have an impact on the industry?
The measures, undertaken by Coljuegos together with the police resulted in numerous arrests and confiscations of illegal machines. The fight against the gray sector will certainly affect our industry in a positive way.
