EGT is a finalist in several categories of BEGE Awards 2024
Nov 22, 2024EGT is excited to announce that it has been shortlisted in 6 categories of the prestigious BEGE Awards 2024. The competition, held annually as part of the BEGE Expo, will give prizes to individuals and companies for their significant contributions and excellent achievements in the gaming and entertainment industry for the 15th consecutive year.
After winning the accolade in last year's edition of the event, the CEO of EGT, Mr. Vladimir Dokov, is once again a finalist in the CEO of the Year category. He received the nomination because of his strategic vision for the company, which has turned it into one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of gaming equipment on a global level.
EGT will also compete for the awards in the Slot Machine of the Year and Slot Game Product of the Year categories. The company has been shortlisted, respectively, for its slot cabinets and slot games from the latest General Series, which have been demonstrating excellent results in a number of gaming establishments around the world.
Spider CMS is nominated for Casino Management System of the Year. As a result of its continuous development and improvement, the system currently contains 15 modules that make the organization of daily activities in gaming halls easy and efficient. This year, Spider CMS significantly expanded its footprint with several installations in Europe and Africa.
EGT's bestseller, Bell Link, has earned the company a spot among the finalists in the Jackpot System of the Year category. Including 4 exciting levels and numerous attractive bonus features, this product has quickly become players' favorite everywhere it has been installed.
EGT has also been shortlisted in the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year category. - How big an opportunity is Peru's gaming market for EGT?
Peru is one of the world's fastest-growing economies which performance has been tied to exports and that provides hard currency – a major advantage for the international entrepreneurs. The country is among the most stable in the region and nevertheless the newly imposed taxation in our industry that slowed it down a bit, I am positive that the downturn is temporary and a new leap in casino equipment sales will follow.
The well-developed Peruvian gaming market though is a challenge for both large-scale manufacturers, like EGT, and smaller companies. We have gained strategic positions on it thanks to our high performing and ever developing products and I am confident that our close liaisons with the local business representatives will keep on being fruitful, ensuring our steady further growth in the country.
- You installed over 1,500 gaming machines in Peru in the last two years. Which models and games of EGT are widely preferred in the country?
Our most popular slot models in Peru are the P-27/27 St and P-24/24 Up, followed by the P-42 Curved St and Up cabinets. The Collection and Premier series multigames, as I mentioned, are also strongly preferred by both operators and players. The new products we displayed at PGS 2019 are also expected to yield new growth opportunities for EGT Peru, so the show will be of great importance to us.
- What areas is EGT focused on improving this year that you may have struggled with previously?
Our current priority is to expand our local team and only for three months the family of EGT Peru has welcomed many new members to number 25 employees in total. We recruit specialists and take care of their regular trainings, so we could keep on improving our services and on being at our customers’ disposal 24/7. Increasing the diversity of our products that we offer locally, assist us in being more and more flexible in finding the best solution for the operators, which has also been a winning strategy.
- What future partnerships and further EGT progress will we see in Peru?
We endeavor to rank in top three gaming suppliers in the country and have always been open to various opportunities for fruitful partnerships. We are adapting our investment plans according to the current economic situation but still we intend to keep our flexibility and general line of work that have been leading us to success.
EGT Peru will rock the gaming world one more time at PGS 2019
June 14, 2019At this year’s Peru Gaming Show one of the largest and most intriguing expositions will again be of EGT at stand No 47. “The main focus of our display will be several jackpot systems – some of them brand new, cabinets that already rock in the country and worldwide famous multiplayer solutions,” shared Mario Trayanski, director of EGT Peru. “We expand our product offerings locally as a key factor to further increase our sales and PGS is a good opportunity to show how flexible we can be in finding the best solutions for the operators.”
Ancient Spin and Sands Princess are the latest jackpot releases of EGT and will take the stage with their 4 and 5 progressive levels, bringing the theme of Ancient Egypt with their design, main games and characters. Revealing a world of treasures beyond imagination, they will be a true golden experience for both operators and players. Ancient Spin features a bonus and a jackpot fortune wheels, granting super games, winning upgrades and numerous other surprises while Sands Princess combines linked and stand-alone jackpot levels to please various types of players.
Two more jackpot systems will introduce a completely different style – the Asian theme, in gaming. EGT’s General cabinets make their debut in Germany
June 10, 2019Casino Saarbrücken is the first in Germany to welcome the new General slot cabinets of EGT, premiered at this year’s ICE show in London. It is one of the most popular gaming establishments in the country, opened in 1979 in Saarland, near the French border, and is operated by the renowned Saarland Casinos Group that manages more six casinos in the region. The installation continues the fruitful partnership between the group and EGT’s exclusive distributor for Germany – E-Systems GmbH, and includes the models G 27-32 Up and G 32-32 VIP which DNA is made up of state-of-the-art design, top-notch technologies, first-class comfort and immense variety of gaming themes.
The operator opted for the General cabinets to especially celebrate its casino’s 40th anniversary this year, deeming them worthy for the occasion to refresh its floor and to raise players’ enjoyment. “We are happy and excited that the premiere of EGT’s General Series is taking place at Casino Saarbrücken,” shared Erik Philippi, CTO of the Saarland Casinos Group. “We are always looking to present new and entertaining game concepts to our customers and think that with the latest Gold HD Collection and its many games, installed on our machines, they will have their hands full, exploring all the unknown content and features for a long time.”
What actually persuaded the management of Casino Saarbrücken to choose both G 27-32 Up and G 32-32 VIP were their obvious advantages – frameless, larger screens for crystal clear gaming graphics; wide and convenient keyboard with dynamic touch display and electromechanical buttons; the Exciter III platform – a true performer in the field; features, securing easy serviceability to the casino’s team and maximum comfort for the players.
