EGT is a finalist in several categories of BEGE Awards 2024
Nov 22, 2024EGT is excited to announce that it has been shortlisted in 6 categories of the prestigious BEGE Awards 2024. The competition, held annually as part of the BEGE Expo, will give prizes to individuals and companies for their significant contributions and excellent achievements in the gaming and entertainment industry for the 15th consecutive year.
After winning the accolade in last year's edition of the event, the CEO of EGT, Mr. Vladimir Dokov, is once again a finalist in the CEO of the Year category. He received the nomination because of his strategic vision for the company, which has turned it into one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of gaming equipment on a global level.
EGT will also compete for the awards in the Slot Machine of the Year and Slot Game Product of the Year categories. The company has been shortlisted, respectively, for its slot cabinets and slot games from the latest General Series, which have been demonstrating excellent results in a number of gaming establishments around the world.
Spider CMS is nominated for Casino Management System of the Year. As a result of its continuous development and improvement, the system currently contains 15 modules that make the organization of daily activities in gaming halls easy and efficient. This year, Spider CMS significantly expanded its footprint with several installations in Europe and Africa.

“EGT’s products have reached pre-pandemic numbers in many countries”
Oct 07, 2021EGT has recently closed a successful deal with Mascot in France. How does that help boost EGT’s presence in the region?
The recent partnership with Mascot is extremely important to our expansion plans in the French market. We have prepared a compelling and intricate strategy for our General Series, Single-game Jackpots, and our well-known multigames. This strategy although aggressive in nature, strives for precision and high effectivity. We are in the process of certifying our new cabinets and hopeful to complete many new installations soon. EGT already has a presence in France, but now we’ve dedicated special products for this market specifically, in order to help the growth of our market share.
Do you see a rebound in performance of land-based casinos in Europe now that venues in most countries have reopened?
The recovery of the business will take time, but many operators shared that performance-wise, EGT’s products have reached pre-pandemic numbers in many countries. Our R&D department worked very hard this past year, and we are ready to present many new products and strengthen our positions even further.
We have prepared new products for the Spanish market, which we recently exhibited in Andalucia, and to considerable acclaim. Spain is one of the markets with enormous potential for us, and we are excited to show what we have been working on.
We are sending more than 400 new VLTs to Italy with special new games, meant exclusively for the Italian market, which we are sure will help our and our client’s growth.
Overall, many of the European countries are still implementing restrictions over the casino business, however, we managed to maintain and even grow our market share in most of the countries we’re present in, which, considering the situation, speaks volumes.
Do you think that the increase in online gaming in Europe creates challenges for the land-based sector?
I believe that the two verticals help complete each other, but operators with land-based and online operations will definitely have a quicker recovery, as the online business only grew in the pandemic time. We worked hard on the development of our i-gaming platform, which includes sports betting, live and virtual casino, lottery solutions, and casino games, alongside our own content such as Bell Link Jackpot, High Cash, plus many more games and third-party content as well.
Our subsidiary EGT Digital grew extremely fast, more than 250 professionals are now employed in the company and we are very proud of the progress. Now we can offer a complete solution to our land-based clients who are willing to transfer some of their investment into the online gaming world.
EGT will be present at G2E in October. What can we expect to see from EGT in Las Vegas?
EGT will most certainly take part in G2E in Las Vegas. I personally believe that the event is very important for the industry. Even though we expect fewer attendants, we still trust in the success of the show.
We did the impossible and succeeded in partaking in the event, considering all the challenges we are facing, like sending all of our products from Europe, but we couldn’t imagine not being there. We will show a few new jackpots, some which are stand-alone ones, and linked progressives as well. They were specially developed for the American and LATAM markets, and we are excited to unveil them for the first time at G2E.
We have some new online games and an online platform that will make its debut in the American market for the first time.
Something we worked hard on was our first bar top multiplayer terminal, specially developed for the US, which allows the simultaneous play of 4 games at a time, including roulette, BJ, baccarat, and our most popular slot games.
EGT rejoices after Expo Congresso Andaluz sobre el Juego
Sept 24, 2021After appearing for the very first time at the exhibition in Andalucia, EGT seem to have had a most successful show, with reports indicating a number of closed deals and the company expressing their hopes and plans for the market. Their Spanish subsiadary feels quite confident and promises to do a lot more in the region.
“The feedback we received was from both the biggest and the smaller operators, we were very excited about that”, says Kristian Kostovski, director of EGT Spain. „Already we have installations confirmed for Q3 2021, as well as for Q1 2022, all throughout Spain – Catalonia, Asturias, Madrid, and of course, Andalucia“, he adds, „we also got the chance to catch up with some old faces for the first time in a long while.“
The company managed to exhibit many products from its catalogue, some exclusively set up for the region, including even a promised, the new G 32-32 VIP. „Andalucia, and Spain as a whole, is a market of great strategic importance and we feel our global presence will expand with the innovations and player experience that we offer here“, summarizes Kostovski.
EGT and MASCOT join forces on distribution agreement

The two enterprises shook hands on their future endeavors last month, with plans to immediately introduce the new General series and progressive Jackpots to the French market.
