For a second consecutive year Euro Games Technology became a gold sponsor of the prestigious conference in the casino industry – Slot Summit Europe. The event drove interest from all over Europe and beyond and gathered more than 150 leading casino operators, analysts, regulatory players, industry associations and suppliers in Lucien Barriere’s conference centre and casino by the lake in Lille, France. From 25th to 27th November they shared their expertise about maximizing casinos revenues, analyzed the key opportunities and issues in the slot market and envisioned its future.

Tailoring its products to the modern trends, EGT complemented the event showing a fine selection of its portfolio. The progressive jackpot system Egypt Quest, the cabinet P-24/24 Up from the distinguished Premier Series and the multiplayer configuration of STORK terminals with an automated roulette wheel revealed their potential to the professionals and opened up their way to new casino floors in France and other countries. “We highly appreciated the networking aspect of Slot Summit Europe being able to meet with visitors from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Lebanon, Malta, and Portugal. During the event we laid the ground for new business relationships and sales and were able to meet face-to-face with some of the leading authorities in the industry. The advantages of Slot Summit Europe have their roots in its genuine atmosphere that was nothing alike the busy-schedule rhythm we all had experienced during G2E, or ICE exhibitions, for example. We had enough time available to feel comfortable communicating with our colleagues,” shared his impressions after the event Mr. Borislav Prokopiev, Sales Manager of EGT for France.

Europe has always been a steady market for Euro Games Technology yielding its greatest sales results. In Bulgaria the company has already gained the leadership and is increasingly expanding also in neighboring Romania, Greece, Serbia, and Macedonia, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, and North Cyprus. Reflecting on the conference’s general topics about the European market, Mr. Prokopiev concluded: “The slot machines sales in France are growing slowly but surely. The land-based casinos are gradually shifting their preferences from Coin In/Out to TITO systems but the process is unfortunately slowed down from the still excessive amount of old models within the country. In comparison Germany and Switzerland are renewing their machine park at a higher pace.”

The manufacturer of casino equipment Euro Games Technology won the prize of the audience in the third edition of the business competition “Best Bulgarian Company”. Organized by First Investment Bank it includes several categories and aims at honoring the most successful and fast-growing companies in the country that operate with entirely Bulgarian capital and managers. This year the number of rivals was doubled. All of the 220 firms took part also in the contest for the prestigious title “Company of the audience”, awarded to Euro Games Technology for the highest votes achieved. EGT surpassed the second competitor for the prize with more than 16% score difference.

The reward – a “Bulgarian Rose” specially made silver coin, partially gilded, is cut in the New Zealand coinage. It was handed to Mr. Vladimir Dokov, the General Manager of EGT, during the official final ceremony of the competition on 19^th November in the City Art Gallery in Sofia.

EGT is in the gaming industry and this appraisal is especially important for us,” shared Mr. Dokov after the ceremony.
