Euro Games Technology along with their local partner, Custom Gaming Solutions, has experienced ongoing success in South Africa with the introduction of EGT’s slot cabinet P-24/24 Up. The first installation of 8 machines took place at the end of last year in Emperors Palace, the flagship of the Peermont Group, and was followed just several months later by new contracts for a further 38 units with the two other major role players in the South African gaming industry - Tsogo Sun and Sun International. The best-selling product of EGT had a positive reception in the venues of the three largest gaming operators in the country and soon became one of the most popular gaming machines everywhere it has been placed.
“We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from all our customers. The EGT product is proving to be a major contender in the South African gaming market, and we look forward to continue to provide excellent products and technical support while building the EGT brand” said Steve Diversi, managing director of Custom Gaming Solutions.
The recently concluded deals for EGT’s P-24/24 Up cabinet has seen the product installed in the following Tsogo Sun venues: Caledon Casino, Suncoast Casino and The Ridge Casino, as well as within the Sun International Group’s Sibaya Casino and Carnival City. The slot model has been so well received, that further orders have been placed and are scheduled for installation within the next weeks.
“To become a gaming choice of the patrons of these prestigious casinos is definitely a breakthrough for P-24/24 Up in South Africa. The slot’s Premier Multi-3 gaming mix of 39 various titles with crisp graphics win over the players and machine’s reliability and reasonable price are key advantages for the operators,” said Stanislav Stanev, sales and marketing director of Euro Games Technology. “In addition we are widening our product line-up for the region. The P-24/24 St Slim slant top cabinet from Premier series has already been certified in South Africa and is on its way to reach its first customers. This model is designed for greater player’s comfort without losing grip on dealing with the usually limited space in the casinos and has all the needed features to achieve the success of the upright version.”
Undergoing homologation are also some other products of Euro Games Technology – the Egypt Quest progressive jackpot system and the Premier Multi-4 multigame mix of 45 games. Their launch in South Africa is expected to boost the company’s market even further, adding also to EGT’s growing popularity in the region.
